On September 1, 2023, three regional transport companies in the Czech Republic merged into one company and the new successor company was renamed, so now there is a new company in the Czech Republic - Transdev Silesia (Czech original name: Transdev Slezsko a.s.).
Transdev Silesia is becoming an important transport company providing public transport for the cities of Havířov, Frýdek-Místek, Karviná and Hranice and will continue to provide regional suburban transport, tour transport and the transport of liquid and compressed technical gases.
The merger of three separate companies into Transdev Silesia helps us to gain a stronger market position. Transdev in the Czech Republic is now one strong brand operating through five separate companies across the country (Transdev Czech Republic, Transdev Central Bohemia, Transdev Moravia, Transdev Silesia and Audisbus by Transdev).
