Rabat-Salé light rail
Transdev Rabat-Salé operates the capital’s tram network. The initial contract, signed in 2010, was renewed in 2020 for a period of 10 years. Aware of the challenges of territorial resilience and sustainable mobility, our network is based every day on three fundamental pillars: Human Capital, Industrial Processes and Information Systems.
Today, with six certifications and labels in our Integrated Management System, the Rabat-Salé tramway is committed to clear ambitions, rigorous processes and transparent performance monitoring, at the service of our 44 million annual passengers.
We have made health and safety a priority with ISO 45001 certification, and quality of service remains the cornerstone of our relationship with passengers (ISO 9001). We also act in favor of the environment, with ISO 14001 certification, and we have optimized our consumption of energy (ISO 50001) and recycled water (ISO 46001).
In terms of social responsibility, we have obtained the ISO 26000 label, and our FIERES program, launched in 2021, supports our management. In 2023, we also established a solid collective agreement, guaranteeing a harmonious relationship between the company and its employees.
With two lines covering 27 km and transporting 160,000 passengers per day in 2024, Transdev Rabat-Salé employs 420 people and continues to offer modern and sustainable mobility.

Around the world, light rail transit (LRT) has become the symbol of a revival in public transportation. LRT does more than just modernise mobility. The Dublin Luas light rail system has breathed new life into Dublin through two lines (the Red line and the Green line) that serve the metropolitan area. An alternative to cars in cities, freed from the constraints of traffic jams, it provides its passengers with speed, frequency, on-time performance and accessibility.
The Red Line is 20 kilometers long and has 32 stops while the Green Line is 24 kilometers long and has 35 stops.

Launched in December 2018, and operated by Transdev Colombia until the end of 2023, the TransMiCable cable car serves "Ciudad Bolivar", a neighbourhood in the south of Bogota, located in the Andes.
TransMiCable has changed the lives of the people of Ciudad Bolivar. Long excluded from Bogotá, its schools, universities, jobs, cultural resources and health system, they now feel fully integrated. At the same time, the cable has led to a restructuring of the district, which is now open to the outside world. Five parks, cultural centres, a museum, shops, restaurants and cafés have reawakened an area that had closed in on itself. TransMiCable has been recognised by the World Bank as a model of mobility and social transformation.
TransMiCable is a durable cable: the main components of the system have been designed to withstand 30 years of wear and tear. The TransMiCable’s 163 cabins, with their solar panel roofs, carry 24,000 passengers a day, 70% of whom are concentrated at peak times. In addition to the fact that there have been no accidents since the Bogotá urban cable went into service, it is also worth noting that there have been no attacks or acts of vandalism, including during the demonstrations on 21 November 2019, when 48% of the bus stations were badly damaged.
