The public transit bus contract is valued at up to US$ 67 million for the first year, and up to US$ 375 over the contract duration. Transdev U.S. will manage daily operations and maintenance for over 160 vehicles with a team of more than 530 employees at the West Facility. With a commitment to sustainability, the fleet includes buses that run on alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas (CNG), and hybrid electric power. The City of Phoenix is also preparing to procure additional low- and zero-emission vehicles, and Transdev will support this transition.
