Transdev in the Netherlands recently kicked off its partnership with the Royal Dutch Fund for Guide Dogs (KNGF) in Amstelveen.

During their training to become a guide dog, it is important that dogs come into contact with all kinds of situations. Travelling by public transportation, for instance. Normally, the trainers of KNGF just hop on the bus or train. But because of the coronavirus, that’s not an option right now.

Transdev therefore invited several dogs and trainers to its Amstelveen bus depot. Here, the guide dogs could experience how a bus ride works. Together with Transdev, they will soon be practicing on the bus station in Amstelveen.
