Transdev Wins Award for Internal Communications
In addition to winning operator of the year, Transdev Ireland also won a technical innovation award for a project called The Hub, its newly devised internal communications platform.
The Hub addresses the need for staff office and non-office based staff – working across 3 depots and 42km of tramline – to be able to quickly and easily see the latest company news and tram service information. Staff can keep up to date with any upcoming events which could impact service or passenger volumes, which increase awareness of the customer experience.
They can view notices which would normally have only been physically displayed in the depots, including safety-related notices. This assists Transdev Ireland with encouraging a safety culture and ensuring that such information is always accessible.

Staff are engaged, informed, and aware of the value of what they do. They know the business and they know Transdev's vision – to be Dublin’s preferred Transport provider.
