Transdev Service West GmbH in Germany is to operate additional bus services in the Nienburg/Weser area for ten years starting in August 2021. This has now been announced by the responsible local transit authority as the result of an open invitation to tender.
The contract, which covers around 500,000 timetable kilometers a year, involves urban transportation in Nienburg with a number of bus routes plus additional booster services. A total of twelve buses and around 25 employees will be required. Operations will start on August 2, 2021, and environmentally friendly hybrid vehicles in the city bus design will be used.
