Since Pride Day on June 21 in Barcelona all TRAM vehicles are decorated by the traditional LGTBIQ+ flag on all driving cabins to show support for internal staff, passengers and the general public. In addition, one tram on each of the two networks circulate with an image two of different profiles of people with the motto « proud of you ». With this illustration, TRAM wants to highlight that it does not discriminate based on gender, feelings or sexual orientation or for any other reason.

Collaboration with the Cruïlla Festival to stop harassment

In addition, this year, TRAM extends its collaboration with the Cruïlla Festival and goes to the action with the creation of the project “Al Cruïlla no callem by TRAM”. The two organizations have come together to create an action plan focused on informing, raising awareness and assist the public in the face of attacks or harassment for discriminatory reasons during the celebration of the musical event on the 8th, 9th and 10th of July.

The more than 3,000 workers and volunteers of the Cruïlla Festival will receive training to know how to act in the event that they are found or notified of a situation of this type, a fixed space will be created within the enclosure with staff specialized in prevention, detection and care for victims of harassment, and will guarantee access to care with itinerant personnel who are highly identified by the entire Festival. The public of the Cruïlla will also have different materials informative to be part of a network against harassment by any reason.

In this way, TRAM and Cruïlla want to ensure that they create a space free of discriminatory attitudes. As every year, the Trambesòs T4 line will offer uninterrupted service for the weekend of the Festival to ensure safe travel and sustainable: from Friday, July 9 at 5 a.m. to Sunday, July 11 at 24 hours.
