Tim de Vries, Transdev subsidiary Connexxion bus driver and Paralympic hand-biker bronze medalist in the 2020 Tokyo games now has his eyes set on Paris 2024. Tim is also a three-time Road World Championship gold medalist, three-time silver medalist and four-time bronze medalist.

Transdev in the Netherlands recently entered a partnership with Tim in which the company will help him “on the road to Paris” and Tim in turn works to help the organization reach its vitality goals. Working in public transit how do we stay fit both physically and mentally?

In the coming weeks we will be hosting exercise weeks during which we will be raffling off a hand-bike clinic with me among all the participations. In addition, I will be recording some motivational vlogs to be distributed through the company.

Vital and engaged colleagues are essential for us. That’s why in the coming years Transdev Netherlands will do more to help colleagues to become and stay healthy and fit. This multi-year partnership with Tim is one aspect of this work.
