As a member of the EELV (The Ecologists) party, Karima Delli has served as a French Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since 2009. Since 2017, she has served as Chair of the Transport and Tourism Committee within the European Parliament. In France, she was elected regional councilor for the northern Hauts-de-France region in 2021. As an expert in urban mobility, she advocates for a rapid transition to sustainable transportation modes and calls for greater cooperation between EU countries to solve cross-border mobility issues.
