On this year's Girls' Day, April 27, 2023, Transdev Germany once again opened their doors and gave young girls a look behind the scenes of the rail industry.
On the annual Girls’ Day, girls and young women can find out about training and career opportunities in technical and scientific fields. RheinRuhrBahn also took part in this day of action and opened its doors to five curious girls, who were thus able to immerse themselves in the exciting working world of the railroads and find out about the different and varied job profiles in the company.
We are pleased that we were able to be part of Girls' Day 2023 and show the participants our working world.

The five schoolgirls, aged between 12 and 14, were given an insight into the organization and planning of rail connections, looked over the shoulders of the train drivers and service staff during their work, and were able to get an idea of the complexities of train maintenance during the workshop tour. A special highlight for the participants was a ride on the train simulator.
It is important to get girls and young women interested in technical professions at an early stage and to show them that women also have a future in the railroad industry. We hope that we were able to give the girls a varied and interesting day
