Transdev expands U.S. business with five-year paratransit contract in Las Vegas (Nevada)

Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), April 30, 2025 – Transdev Group continues to strengthen its global footprint with the expansion of its partnership with the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). Transdev U.S., which has been operating RTC’s public transit bus services in Las Vegas, Nevada, since June 2023, has now been awarded the contract to operate its paratransit services.

    • The paratransit contract is valued at almost US$ 579 million for a five-year base term.

    With the addition of this contract, Transdev U.S. will now oversee RTC’s paratransit services, operating over 400 vehicles and employing 857 team members, including 704 operators. Combined with its existing public transit operations, Transdev U.S. now manages a fleet of more than 800 vehicles and a workforce exceeding 2,300 employees in Southern Nevada. The five-year base contract, valued at up to US$579 million, includes options that could extend the agreement for up to four years.

    With this significant expansion, Transdev U.S. now operates one of the most extensive contracted transit service networks in the country, which carried over 52 million passengers last year, further solidifying Transdev Group’s commitment to delivering innovative, passenger-focused mobility solutions worldwide.
