In her new role, Susan will have overall operational and financial responsibility for Transdev’s contract locations across the U.S.
She will oversee Transit Operations, managing five regional Vice Presidents, as well as managing the expertise and support areas of Fleet & Maintenance, Performance, Safety & Security, Project Management, Rail and Non-Emergency Medical Transport.
Susan joins Transdev U.S. following a career spanning more than 30 years at FedEx Express. In her position as Operations Regional VP at FedEx Express headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, she was responsible for USD 5 billion in revenue, over 14,000 employees and a fleet of more than 8,000 vehicles serving thousands of clients across the country each day. Susan has an outstanding reputation as an experienced executive with strong leadership skills and an impressive track record of proven results, as evidenced by her continued career progression at FedEx.
In her most recent role, as VP Operations Planning and Engineering, she was responsible for planning, budgeting, implementation of standards and enhancement of efficiency for all U.S. Operations at some 678 locations. This included routing, scheduling and optimizing central hub locations (where packages are sorted) to meet service commitments for on-time performance.
Susan has also held the role of Vice President Customer Experience and Compliance at FedEx. She is passionate about improving the customer experience and increasing employee satisfaction.
Susan earned her under-graduate degree in business at the University of Louisville and her MBA from Dowling College
