Transdev Queensland has secured a two-year extension to its contract with Translink, ensuring the continued operation of bus services across Redlands and Southeast Queensland until 2027.

The extension, granted by Translink—a division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads—recognizes Transdev’s consistent performance in delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused public transport. It also highlights the strong collaboration between Transdev, Translink, and the Redlands community.

This is a strong endorsement of the hard work and professionalism of our Journey Makers here at Transdev Queensland.

From our drivers and mechanics through to operations, network planning and administration, every team member plays a vital role in delivering reliable services to our customers and community.

We’re proud to continue supporting the Redlands and building upon the productive partnership we’re fortunate to have with our colleagues at Translink.

Mark Thatcher, Managing Director of Transdev Queensland

We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Transdev, who’ve demonstrated their commitment to safety, service quality and strong community engagement.

Dr Deborah Hume, Head of Translink

Transdev has been a key player in Queensland’s public transport network since 2004. The company currently operates 122 buses across 127 routes and employs over 300 local staff, reinforcing its role as a major contributor to the region’s mobility and economy.

This contract extension ensures that commuters in Redlands and Southeast Queensland will continue to benefit from dependable and community-oriented bus services through at least 2027.
