The new Maison des Mobilités was inaugurated on April 15, 2024, in the presence of Arnaud Robinet, President of Grand Reims - Mayor of REIMS, Edouard HENAUT, CEO of Transdev France, Laurent MAHIEU, Regional Director Transdev Hauts-de-France and Transdev Grand Est, Alexandre MORA, Sales Director Transdev France, and Leila Garnier, Director of TRANSDEV GRAND REIMS. It will welcome customers of the Grand Reims Mobilités network at 28 A boulevard Joffre, on the forecourt of the Reims center SNCF station.
A strategic location in view of the extension of the mobility offer and service to the 143 communes of the Communauté Urbaine du Grand Reims from next September, the station forecourt is already easily accessible by streetcar or bus, thanks to the many lines that serve the area.
Managed entirely by Transdev Grand Reims, the development work for this new reception area was coordinated and carried out by local players. With a view to sustainable development and cost control, materials from the premises’ former activity were reused wherever possible.
The forecourt, located in front of the Maison des Mobilités, was also completely redeveloped by the city of Reims to enhance and optimize the use of the site, with the installation of bicycle parking bays and, above all, improved access from the public highway for people with reduced mobility.
In an ongoing quest to improve the customer experience, Transdev Grand Reims has made every effort to offer customers of the Grand Reims Mobilités network a welcoming, modern, bright and functional space.
With a view to inclusivity and fairness, the new Maison des Mobilités also meets all current accessibility standards: wide doors, accessible counters, clear signage, tactile devices to facilitate orientation and sound to encourage exchanges…
In this brand-new environment, Grand Reims Mobilités will of course be offering a whole range of services to facilitate travel and mobility facilitating travel and mobility: information on all forms of transport, timetables and itineraries, ticket sales, lost and found collection, fines and outstanding payments…
