Fighting fraud in Île-de-France

Strengthening safety in transportation and combating fare evasion alongside Île-de-France Mobilités is a major objective for Transdev to ensure the peace of mind of both passengers and employees.

Transdev has established a specialized subsidiary in Île-de-France to professionalize the role of inspectors and actively involve its teams. The subsidiary, Transdev Contrôle et Sûreté, implements a daily strategy to fight fraud and anti-social behavior, which is primarily based on:

• An active presence in the field to reduce fraud, issue fines with an educational approach, and manage conflicts;

• Enhanced joint operations between inspection teams, security teams, law enforcement, and the Regional Transport Brigade;

• A “Stop Fraud” system that allows inspectors to verify the identity and address of fare evaders.
