Organized across French, Italian, and Swiss territories, the competition involves a particularly complex mobility setup, adapted to the constraints of a mountain environment and the influx of several thousand runners, supporters, and spectators.
For the 2025 edition, up to 150 buses, 15 dedicated lines, 28 served stations, and 30 dispatchers working day and night ensured seamless transportation throughout the week. Coordinated with local and law enforcement authorities, the system relied on dedicated shuttle lanes to promote public transit and limit individual car use. In total, over 20,000 people were transported across nearly 1,200 trips, helping avoid more than 6,000 private car journeys. In Johnson County, Kansas, within the Kansas City metropolitan area, the Group designed and operated a dedicated transportation program over a 35-day period to support six tournament matches and more than 400,000 visitors attending FIFA Fan Festival events. Prepared over nine months in collaboration with local authorities, event organizers, public safety agencies, and community partners, the operation included three dedicated transit connections serving key event locations, a dedicated command center, and a fleet of 40 vehicles. To deliver the service, Transdev mobilized 40 operators and 10 road supervisors from 17 U.S. states, selected for their operational experience, strong safety records, and commitment to customer service.
