Moving green: Transdev's environmental strategy

Building sustainable mobility requires, first and foremost, convincing as many people as possible to choose public transportation, by improving the customer experience and adapting our offer to passengers’ needs (multimodal options, attractive and comfortable conditions, transportation on demand, deployment of Mobility as a Service, etc.). It also requires decarbonizing our vehicle fleet by deploying alternative energies (electric, biogas, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles).

Ambitious carbon reduction commitments by 2030

Since 2020, our “Moving Green” strategy has formalized our commitments and concrete actions:

to reduce the carbon intensity of the fleet by 30 % from well to wheel (scope 1, 2 and 3 related to energy) for non-maritime transport activities by 2030 (base year 2018);
to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from the diesel road fleet by 50 % between 2018 and 2030.

To achieve these goals, we support our clients in deploying efficient, lowcarbon transportation networks, we offer intelligent financing solutions to engineer the energy transition, and we leverage our expertise and experience, in particular our zero-emission know-how.
