Deploying a zero-emission fleet
Our priority: encouraging the use of public transport
Building sustainable mobility means first and foremost convincing as many people as possible to choose public transport. To do this, our first mission is to offer a quality, optimized and high-performance service to enable increased ridership.
Acting for the environment
Because we play a leading role in the fight against global warming, our "Moving Green" strategy formalizes our commitments and concrete actions for sustainable, low-carbon mobility for all territories: our alternative fleet is growing (electric vehicles, biogas, biodiesel, CNG, hydrogen), we are reducing our greenhouse gas emissions every year, thanks to our energy transition actions, and because our drivers are trained in eco-driving.

Deploying our zero-emission fleet
In Australia, we won an 8-year contract (2022-2030) to gradually replace 136 diesel buses with electric ones. By March 2022, 10 electric buses were already operating in the Sydney area.
Transdev Canada has been operating 27 electric school buses in the Quebec City region since September 2020. Working with local vehicle manufacturers as well as electricity suppliers (HydroQuébec), more than 4.5 million Canadian dollars have been reinjected into the local economy and a 99% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to diesel buses, guaranteeing a better living environment for residents.
This is complemented by a fleet of over 3,500 renewable gas and biogas vehicles and over fifty hydrogen-powered electric vehicles. Our fleet of hydrogen-powered vehicles is growing, as in Netherlands or in France, in Lens, Auxerre and on the Toulouse Blagnac airport network.
A business that creates value for the planet, all regions and the common good
Our public transport offer contributes to relieving road traffic congestion with the aim of being an alternative to the private car and is based on innovative sustainable solutions. Our fleet of electric, biogas, hybrid and hydrogen vehicles is growing, we offer soft mobility like the Véligo offer in Ile-de-France (a joint project with the French Post Office), our drivers are trained in eco-driving, more than half of our waste is recycled, and we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions every year.
