Évian (France), June 15, 2026

Transdev, a leading mobility player active in 19 countries, is an official partner of the G7 Évian Summit, taking place June 13–18, 2026.

Transdev is proud to serve as an official partner of the Évian Summit and to contribute to its smooth running by ensuring seamless transportation for delegates and journalists. I would like to thank Ambassador Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, Secretary-General of the French G7 Presidency, and his teams, for his trust in our teams

Edouard Hénaut

CEO France and Director of Security Transdev Group

We are pleased to have Transdev's expertise on board to manage transportation for this major diplomatic event, and we know we can count on the company's full commitment

Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, Ambassador and Secretary-General of the French G7 Presidency

Under the agreement signed with the Secretariat-General of the French G7 Presidency, Transdev will manage and operate dedicated transportation lines serving journalists and delegates throughout the summit.

The transportation plan, based on coaches, buses and shuttles, will connect delegate and journalist accommodations with the International Press Center (IPC) and the Advanced Press Center. A dedicated booking system has been developed specifically for the event.

Since June 13, 30 drivers, 10 traffic controllers and 20 vehicles are deployed, supported by an operational control and dispatch center. The operation will run through June 18.

Transdev, which carries 14 million passengers daily, brings along proven expertise in major international sporting events, including Paris 2024 and the UTMB® in Chamonix, as well as large-scale exceptional transportation deployments.

An exceptional 1.00pm news broadcast today, live from Evian for the opening of G7. For this operation, we have been entrusted with several bus lines to transport journalists and accredited personnel. This project began when the Élysée and the G7 General Secretariat chose to entrust Transdev with the entire transport system, and we have been working on it since January. We have 30 drivers, 10 regulators, and 20 vehicles deployed throughout the 3 days of the G7. So, we chose to bring in a vehicle equipped by the Transdev group from the region, inside which we set up a transport command center. This allows us to connect our computers to the screens and work from a central roundabout where we gather information from our drivers. Since we are located right in the middle of the International Media Center, we can relay updates very quickly from this point. I think the dispatch and driving teams are well-accustomed to major events, but everyone shares a mindset of knowing that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we have raised our performance level. It brings a lot for the future and teaches us a great deal. We have already worked on the biathlon or the UTMB, but this is truly on another scale. You can really feel the international scope, alongside a massive security and organizational setup. You just have to stay calm and do your job as usual. My assignment for this week is to run the shuttles between Morzine, Les Gets, and Thonon-les-Bains, and it is a great pleasure to be here for our fellow journalists. It seems quite well-organized. At least for us, regarding everything put in place to access the media center from the various hotels in the region where we are staying. So far, everything is going well. We haven't missed a thing, so it's perfect. Ultimately, what we know how to do is assemble a transport system, implement it, and handle any unexpected events that come up at the last minute. While we are used to major events, this particular one stands out because of its high media exposure and political scale.
