Our 2020 commitments
Transdev Normandie is committed to reducing CO₂ emissions
At the heart of environmental performance and aware of ecological issues, as early as 2016 we signed the voluntary commitment charter to reduce CO² emissions.
This is a strong, mobilized territorial commitment to the environment.
So, our 4 subsidiaries : Transdev Normandie interurbain, Transdev Normandie Val de Seine, Transdev Normandie Pays de Caux and Transdev Urbain Dieppe have committed to implementing an action plan in favor of the environment and to measuring their progress over 3 years by following the " Objectif CO² " program.
“CO² Target”
It's part of the Voluntary Commitment for the Environment program. It is the only national scheme offering companies a comprehensive, structured reference framework for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The program is supported by public authorities and professional organizations.
“CO² Target”

Supporting the ecological transformation of territories
Thanks to the program's operational tools, Transdev Normandie will monitor its progress in reducing CO₂ emissions and air pollutants on an annual basis using indicators such as improved fuel consumption monitoring, the implementation of the “engine off” solution, the number of eco-driving training courses, etc.
Innovation and commitment therefore lie both in the tools made available to us and in the change in behavior of our drivers.
Through this charter, we are committed to significantly reducing fuel consumption, using the various digital tools available and, above all, placing the driver at the heart of our environmental performance strategy.
At Transdev Normandie, we are fully aware that all employees, each at their own level, have a role to play in our company's environmental performance.
The first Ecological Transition Contract (CTE)
in the Eure department was signed by Seine Normandie Agglomération with 26 economic partners in the region, including Transdev Normandie Val de Seine, operator of its SNgo! urban transport network.
The first Ecological Transition Contract (ETC)

Supporting the ecological transformation of territories
Seine Normandie Agglomération has taken the gamble of ecology as an economic driver and has chosen to make a large place for " sober and sustainable mobility " accompanied by its partner Transdevandie Normandie Val de Seine.
Among the 26 concrete actions selected in this CTE, we are committed to two actions to build the mobility of tomorrow : innovative and sustainable.
In this ecological transformation of the territory, the first commitment of Transdev Normandie and our network SNgo! will concern the experimentation in 2021 of new autonomous electric and shared shuttles " NIMFEA ". They will connect the Vernon train station to the internationally renowned tourist site of Giverny.
To encourage the emergence of the hydrogen industry in Normandy, our second commitment is part of the project to deploy hydrogen charging stations. Indeed, during 2020, we are investing in a light-duty hydrogen-powered vehicle for our teams in the field.
More broadly, Transdev Normandie is working with the local authority on a daily basis to achieve the goal of using 100% renewable energy in the conurbation by 2040.
The signing of this CTE by Transdev Normandie shows that the ecological transition is also a vector for economic development, notably via the creation of new virtuous economic sectors (territorial circular economy, professional training and retraining, local job creation).
