To accelerate this transition and that of local communities, Transdev offers expertise tailored to the reality of each region: biogas buses in Mulhouse, 100% hydrogen bus lines in Lens, and other key solutions for a diversified and virtuous energy mix.

The challenge:

Transdev aims to actively participate in the development of public transportation in the Île-de-France region. To this end, we are supporting Île-de-France Mobilités' strategy for this project to transition vehicles and Bus Operations Centers (COB).

Accelerating the regional energy transition

To accelerate this transition and that of local authorities, Transdev offers expertise adapted to the reality of each territory: biogas buses in Mulhouse, bus line 100% hydrogen in Lens, all key solutions for a diversified and virtuous energy mix.

The challenge:

Transdev aims to play an active role in the development of public transport in the Île-de-France region. To this end, we are supporting the strategy of Île-de-France Mobilités on this vehicle and Bus Operations Center (BOC) transition project.

The solution:

Transdev's active support for the development of the gas sector in the Île-de-France region with the conversion of our COBs to biogas powering 800 vehicles in operation in 2023.
An optimized transition schedule thanks to the construction of a specific team enabling a COB to be converted in 14 months.
Continued experimentation with new fuels to improve our energy mix,
in particular with HVO (synthetic fuel without palm oil) already deployed on nearly 250 vehicles.
