Innovating and designing tools to promote intermodality

All Transdev Normandie's expertise has gone into developing this prototype that can be used by everyone.

The rack-à-vélo allows you to transport your bike while using the urban network.
The system has been designed to be as fluid as possible (no bike carrying) and usable at any age. Easy for the user: a call button is installed inside and outside the bus to signal to the driver that he wishes to install or retrieve his bike. The rack is at platform height and can accommodate 3 bikes. A presence sensor and camera ensure optimum security at all times.

Maneuverability and safety, for both driver and passenger, are the strengths of this innovative project designed thanks to everyone's intelligence.

Co-construction of a bike rack in partnership with Seine-Eure Agglo

One of our objectives is of course to promote bus/bike intermodality to offer a complete alternative to the private car.

This innovation, on the initiative of the Seine Eure conurbation, is the fruit of collaboration between bodybuilder IBF, Transdev Urbain Seine-Eure, Transdev Normandie, DREAL Normandie and Mercedes.

Car-sharing: transforming individual cars into a form of public transport

Short car-sharing is a concrete solution that responds to the challenges of mobility. It makes it possible to refine the mobility offer in suburban areas to facilitate access to employment areas in particular.

Transdev Normandie has developed a partnership with Karos to integrate car-sharing into the overall mobility offer.

The personalized car-sharing platform Karos encourages users to use the public transport lines of urban and regional networks, thus offering a intermodal solution, perfectly optimized and integrated.

Users can therefore combine door-to-door journeys between car and public transport. The integrated fare is adapted to suit each network. Innovative, simple and effective.

More than a year after its implementation, our solution co-constructed with Karos has found its fans on the territory of Flers Agglo: the exclusive partnership between Karos and Transdev Normandie complements the mobility services of the Le Havre Seine Métropole and Seine-Eure Agglo community territories.
