MonCopilote
Mon Copilote helps people with reduced mobility to get around the urban network in complete safety.
Solidarity-based and inclusive mobility
In a context where population ageing, isolation, and the complexity of getting around are becoming major societal challenges, Mon Copilote offers a human and innovative solution.
This service connects travellers who need assistance with volunteer or professional copilots to make their journeys safer and easier, whether for regular or occasional trips.
The goal is simple: to make mobility accessible to everyone, particularly older adults, people with disabilities, or those who are vulnerable. By promoting autonomy, Mon Copilote contributes to public health by reducing social isolation and encouraging active mobility.
Beyond assistance, this solution is part of a sustainable mobility approach: it encourages shared journeys, reduces individual car use, and integrates with existing transport networks.
The technology is intentionally simple and intuitive, so that everyone can use it easily, without digital barriers.
In Nantes, the NAOLIB network has been offering since November 2022 an additional support service to the existing specialised transport offer thanks to Mon Copilote.
The objective: to enable people with reduced mobility to travel safely across the urban network and promote their inclusion.
How does it work?
MonCopilote is a web and telephone platform on which people with reduced mobility can post requests for assistance. All trips are possible from Monday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The platform recruits and trains volunteer companions to support these journeys in optimal conditions.
This initiative addresses major challenges:
- Accessibility and autonomy for vulnerable or elderly people.
- Social connection by reducing isolation.
- Sustainable mobility by encouraging shared journeys and the use of public transport.
Already successfully deployed in Nantes, this service is also offered in other Transdev networks and will be implemented in early 2026 on the Le Havre network.
An initiative that reflects our commitment to inclusive, supportive mobility adapted to everyone’s needs.
