An essential link for sustainable mobility with the CDG Val
The challenge:
Ensuring fluidity of movement within the Roissy airport zone is a crucial issue in view of the particularly recurrent traffic congestion problems. This area sees a massive influx of passengers and vehicles every day. Optimal traffic management in this area is essential not only to guarantee flight punctuality, but also to ensure the safety and comfort of users.
The solution
The CDG VAL, a free automated metro system at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport operated by Transdev, facilitates mobility. This fast and efficient transport system ensures rapid travel, high frequency, and strict punctuality.
This service allows travelers to move easily between the different terminals while ensuring a smooth and fast connection. In addition, it also serves the RER B, which connects Roissy CDG to Paris. This network is available 7 days a week, from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The CDG Val helps to relieve congestion on the airport's roads by offering a convenient alternative for travelers, free of charge. It is therefore a key link in the airport's transport system, enabling millions of passengers who pass through Paris-Charles de Gaulle each year to get around.
