Mobility: a driver for attractiveness and inclusion in Orléans Métropole

Under the city contract, mobility is considered an essential pillar of the living environment and urban renewal. It plays a major role in opening up neighborhoods, strengthening links between them, and reducing social and territorial inequalities.

Among the structural projects, the second tram line, which entered service in 2012, illustrates this ambition. It has created inter-neighborhood links and strengthened connections with the city center, while promoting soft modes of transport and more sustainable mobility.
