Developing tailor-made green solutions

Thus, it is through "made-to-measure" green solutions, that we support our customers in their challenges and ambitions to raise public awareness, environmental efficiency and ecological and energy transition.

The first Retrofit trial was set up in Normandy with the creation of the Nomad hydrogen bus. The principle: replace the combustion engine with an electric motor, powered by a battery coupled to a fuel cell. This allows us to increase the proportion of clean vehicles without replacing our fleet, limit vehicle production and optimize our purchasing. Thanks to this process, carried out on Iveco's Crossway coaches (580 vehicles out of 1,750), the replaced engine can use 30kg H2/day/coach and travel 380 km per day. This autonomy, combined with a zero-emission engine, considerably reduces our transport fleet's CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
