Chronopro, on-demand transportation for business parks

Enabling commuting between home and work is one of the priorities of a public transport network. Serving industrial and craft areas, on the other hand, poses particular challenges due to the size of these areas and their specific schedules.

When redesigning its bus network, the Beauvais metropolitan area asked us to focus on improving service to business parks and suburban areas. The goal was to come up with innovative solutions for these areas, which are difficult to serve with conventional transportation solutions.

Regular bus routes do not always provide a suitable or optimal solution. Based on this observation, we created the Chronopro service in September 2016, in partnership with Cityway

The Chronopro principle is simple: the service is based on a hub, served by a key route in the network that offers frequent and fast service. From this hub, our teams organize regular rotations to drop passengers off at their companies.

We have also set up a large number of stops (at company entrances) in business parks in order to cover the entire area and provide a comprehensive service.

It is also easy for travelers to use:

Passengers book their journey on the mobile app or online (+ link) and indicate the stop where they wish to be dropped off.
On their return journey, passengers follow the same procedure: they book their trip using the app or online, up to 30 minutes before departure. They select their pick-up point and the time they wish to arrive at the Chrono line connection point. Around 30 minutes before departure, they receive a notification indicating the exact time they will be picked up at the stop.
Passengers can view the vehicle in real time on the app.

Vehicles only serve requested stops, enabling smoother, more frequent, and faster journeys for employees.

Déclic, on-demand transportation to support regional development in Hauts-de-France

To facilitate mobility, we have supplemented the regular transport services offered by the PastelBus network in Saint-Quentin with three new Déclic transport services: Déclic Bout de ligne, Déclic Pro, and Déclic Agglo. The stated objective is to meet the diverse needs of residents with customized solutions.

With this concept, we provide a more efficient transport service that meets the expectations of Saint Quentinois residents: the service is available on request.
At the “Déclic Bout de Ligne” stop, passengers have access to:

A call button that triggers transport to the end of the line.
An information terminal displaying the schedule for the next vehicle.
Real-time network information.

Déclic Pro
To promote professional mobility, we have innovated with the Déclic PRO transport service. Company employees benefit from an additional service tailored to their activities outside network operating hours (early morning and late evening) and can book using a toll-free number.
We have included this service in the network offering at the same rate.

Déclic Agglo
To give residents of the suburbs of Saint-Quentin greater freedom of movement, we have expanded the area covered by the on-demand transport service. The result: more accessible areas and stronger social ties.
