A committed player in the energy transition
Our commitments
One of our priorities is to support the territories of the Normandy region in their desire to reduce their emissions and their impact on the environment.
As a public transport operator, we are naturally committed to the fight against global warming.
Fostering clean, sustainable mobility is at the heart of our DNA. We benefit from solid, recognized expertise in the operation of low-CO2-emission means of transport, and we are a driving force in supporting local authorities in their drive to guarantee sustainable mobility.
Electric shuttles and a fleet of hybrid buses for the new Dieppe-Maritime network
Historic operator of the Dieppe Maritime urban network, the Agglomération has entrusted us with the task of overhauling its mobility offer in terms of both services and visual identity. We work daily to ensure that this network contributes directly to the attractiveness of the region, to the quality of life of its inhabitants and, of course, to the preservation of the environment
Together, we have imagined a greener, cleaner and more committed form of mobility.
Transdev Normandie operates a free 100% electric shuttle in the city center, which is a great success with locals and tourists alike. In particular, it contributes to the development of local life while facilitating decarbonized travel.
Dieppe Maritime has also invested in a fleet of hybrid buses, the first step towards 100% carbon-free motorization by 2025. What's more, to boost operating performance, Transdev Normandie has integrated two electric vehicles to ensure line reliefs while preserving the environment.
This program will also enable the development of collective and connected autonomous transport and a "multi-transport" app (Maas). Through this project, Transdev Normandie aims to be the 1st operator in Europe to deploy an autonomous collective and shared transport network, integrated with the territory's network in order to expand its service offering.

Tourist shuttle from Vernon to Giverny: 100% electric!
Since 2019, we have partnered with Seine Normandie Agglomération to experiment with electromobility and respond to climate challenges. This is France's first electric coach for tourist services. Economical and ecological, it is also Normandy's first electric coach on an intercity service.
Green mobility
Transdev Normandie provides the tourist link from Vernon station to Giverny. During the summer season, our three coaches run regular shuttles on this line to serve the Musée des Impressionismes, Claude Monet's garden and his foundation.
