Academy By Transdev Normandie in Rouen

On January 7, 2021, Rouen's "Académie by Transdev" program kicked off with a first session of 8 alternating students. This one-year training course will enable them to join the company on a long-term basis, with a permanent driver's contract at the end.

This innovative scheme enables apprentice drivers to be trained to meet the specific needs of Rouen's Astuce network, with a diploma at the end: the CAP agent d'accueil et de conduite routier, with the professional qualification of public transport driver on the road. Additional modules enrich the training, such as reception and customer relations.

Work-study students aged between 21 and 46, most of whom are undergoing vocational retraining or are far from employment

CDI objective: long-term integration into the company

Once the apprentices have completed their training course and obtained their Titre Professionnel, they will be able to join the workforce on a permanent basis, by becoming driving sales agents. This training, provided by the company's training department, will enable him to join the 715 drivers in the Astuce network.

The originality and relevance of the Académie by Transdev program emanates from the transmission of knowledge between professionals and apprentices. Thus, teaching will be provided both by Transdev Rouen's in-house team of instructors, and by company drivers and dispatchers trained to be apprenticeship masters.
