Education: When girls from disadvantaged neighborhoods dream big

Rêv'Elles is a project supported by the Transdev Foundation to help young girls regain their self-confidence.

Why this project?

The Rêv’Elles association, founded in 2013, works to address gender and social inequalities in career guidance for young women. It supports teenage girls ages 14 to 20 from low-income backgrounds, who often lack confidence and prospects. By creating supportive environments, Rêv’Elles helps these young women develop ambitious career plans that align with their aspirations.

How does the organization operate?

Rêv’Elles offers comprehensive, long-term support. To date, the organization has educated and supported nearly 3,000 young girls. It operates in the Île-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions and offers several programs. These programs are free and aim to develop the personal and professional potential of these young girls.

This flagship program takes place over several days during school breaks and includes:

Group workshops on self-confidence
Individual coaching sessions
A day at a company
Meetings with inspiring women (“Role Models”)

This intensive program is followed by five months of support, including personalized coaching sessions to build confidence and refine the participants’ career plans.

Through this tailored support, the organization provides young women with the tools they need to break down social and gender barriers.
