In France, night work was carried out on the Transdev Grand Reims light rail line to optimize speed during the summer.
In order to guarantee the commercial speed of the light rails on the line during periods of high temperatures, the infrastructure teams of the Rabat Salé, Reims and Dublin subsidiaries, and the Transdev group’s support functions, met on the Transdev Grand Reims light rail network last April. Over a period of 5 nights, the teams carried out mechanical voltage recovery work on the contact wires.
This shared intervention enabled the technical teams of the Grand Reims tramway network to enhance their skills, and contributed to the sharing of know-how and feedback from our international subsidiaries.
