Transport safety in Île-de-France: a daily priority
We are taking action in line with Île-de-France Mobilités' policy to secure bus networks in the inner and outer suburbs. Transdev is positioning itself as a major supporter of the most sensitive networks and areas.
A general surveillance system
was put in place in early 2018, mobilizing security agents empowered for direct intervention in the event of incivilities. We are adopting concrete measures that play an active part in making transport safer: "reassuring and dissuasive" island patrols and accompanying checks and "making passengers and drivers feel safe".
A general surveillance system

Deterrent island patrols in sensitive areas and stops
Security officers ensure the safety of staff, passengers, and property through their daily presence, reducing feelings of insecurity, particularly on late-night services.
Thanks to their rapid response times, they can rescue and assist anyone in difficulty.
This service, which was previously unknown to our customers, has proved particularly popular and is viewed positively on the networks where it operates.
Since its implementation in January 2018, security officers have carried out 203 interventions on four of our networks in six months, and we have recorded a decrease of nearly 42% in incidents in the first half of 2018.
Bus stops, night-time demand, reassurance on the Transdev seine saint denis and Transdev Melun networks
From 10pm onwards, this system allows passengers who request it to disembark outside the stop, under optimum conditions of safety and respect for the highway code.
The measure, which is part of Île-de-France Mobilités' plan to reinforce transport safety, is a response to the feeling of insecurity in trans- ports, particularly among women.
According to a study by the Institut d'aménagement et d'urbanisme published in 2016,
25% of them don't take the bus because they don't feel safe. In 3 months, over a hundred requests have been made to the drivers of the 4 Seine -Saint Denis network lines concerned since the service opened on March 6.
