Innovative on-demand transportation

With its 1,200 companies, the industrial port area of Le Havre Seine Métropole is a considerable employment zone. To meet the challenges of this major port area in France, we have developed FlexiLIA: an innovative transport-on-demand (TAD) service that has been continuously improving since 2018.

The FlexiLiA service, based on four regular lines from the LiA network, transforms into transport on demand at the entrance to the Industrial and Port Zone. In this zone, the lines serve a group of companies as directly as possible, according to the stops reserved by passengers. On leaving the zone, the regular lines return to their predefined routes and timetables.

We offer a flexible customer journey that can be used intuitively, online or on smartphone. Simply indicate the date, departure point, desired pick-up time and destination company. Reservations for on-demand transport can also be made directly with the driver. 

The FlexiLIA service offers a sustainable alternative to the private car. 

It's also an innovative on-demand service for drivers: they receive information and pick-up requests in real time on their on-board tablet and can thus adapt their route very quickly.
