Revealing skills every day to support local employment
Revealing skills every day for local employment
Being a leading player in the passenger transport sector means we are committed to demonstrating unquestionable expertise in our field. This requires the unwavering commitment of our expert employees.
To maintain this momentum and ensure a diverse range of skills, Transdev takes a proactive and ongoing approach to training and professional development for its teams. Transdev Training programs cover all the needs of the mobility sector.
As a partner of organizations such as Pôle Emploi, we train job seekers every year in the profession of “bus and coach driver” and then offer them a permanent contract.
A resolutely local player
Meeting our future employees
We are strengthening our presence on job boards and within professional networks, and multiplying opportunities to meet with local employment players and candidates (Pôle emploi, town halls, local missions, recruitment fairs, temp agencies...)
Favoring local purchasing
We work with local companies or those that have relays for national framework contracts. We also respect a charter that commits us to:
- Use local suppliers "in compliance with the procedures of the public procurement code",
- Apply the principle of proximity to limit transport in distance and volume
FOCUS ON... “Stop requested for employment”: a traveling escape game to promote the hiring of women in the transportation industry
Transdev and the Brittany Region have initiated a "trade" escape game to promote the employment of women in Brittany, in all professional sectors including passenger transport.
A project committed to:
- Increase awareness of the various professions recruiting locally, close to Transdev
- Integrate gender equality into career guidance and integration in all sectors, including transport and logistics
- Enable women's access to all jobs, promote a mix of professions by going against gender stereotypes
- We aim to go out and meet Bretons through a "Tro Breiz" (tour of Brittany)
