Panoramique des Dômes

The Panoramique des Dômes, operated by Transdev, is a unique rack railway in France that connects the Maison de Site to the summit of the Puy de Dôme. This 5.3 km long electrified infrastructure provides safe and environmentally friendly access to one of the country's most iconic natural sites. The train runs all year round with a frequency adapted to the season, with departures up to every 20 minutes.

Transdev operates this line as part of a public service delegation, guaranteeing high-quality tourist rail traffic. The rolling stock, supplied by Stadler Rail, can carry up to 1,200 people per hour. This service embodies Transdev's commitment to inclusive, sustainable mobility that is accessible to all.
