WeRIDE recognized as a 2023 Top 50 Smart City Award recipient

WeRIDE Microtransit service, operated by Transdev in Arizona, has been recognized as a 2023 Top 50 Smart City Award recipient.

WeRIDE microtransit service in Arizona, operated by Transdev North America, was launched in November 2022 to address a passenger and transportation demand issues. As it celebrates its one-year anniversary, it’s clear the service has helped that important need.

The WeRIDE Microtransit solution provided an on-demand microtransit service that met the needs of existing fixed route service customers in Avondale, AZ, helped improve service to low density areas and offered a mobility option for riders in Goodyear, AZ. Since its inception, the service has taken off and continues to grow.

The service in Avondale, Arizona was also recognized as a 2023 Top 50 Smart City Award recipient earlier this year.
