Transdev Canada secures nearly $6 million in funding to electrify its school bus fleet

Transdev Canada announces it has secured a substantial investment of nearly $6 million from the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB), for the electrification of its school bus fleet in Quebec.

Transdev Canada, is pleased to announce that it has secured a substantial investment of nearly $6 million from the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB), for the electrification of its school bus fleet in Quebec. This funding is part of the $400 million commitment awarded to the Fédération des transporteurs scolaires for vehicle electrification, and a total of $12 million for the company up to 2026.

The investment will go towards Transdev Canada’s ongoing initiative to electrify its school buses. This effort will add to the company’s 82 electric buses already on the road in Quebec. The strategic move aligns with Transdev Canada’s commitment to sustainability, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to a cleaner, greener future for the communities it serves.
