Fleet and maintenance manager: a key role in vehicle management

He or she ensures the efficiency of business processes related to fleet management, maintenance, and associated infrastructure. He or she oversees the organization of the maintenance department and contributes to the continuous improvement of technical, economic, and operational performance.

The position involves management and coordination, working closely with operations and technical teams, and may include leading projects to transform maintenance practices and tools.

  • Maintenance, including planning preventive and corrective maintenance, managing maintenance schedules, organizing the workshop, and coordinating internal and external technical interventions.

  • Fleet management: He or she is responsible for the administrative and regulatory monitoring of the vehicle fleet. He or she ensures vehicle compliance and fleet availability and helps optimize operating costs using fleet management tools.
  • Maintenance planning: He or she organizes and plans preventive and corrective maintenance operations. He or she anticipates breakdowns, prioritizes interventions, and coordinates vehicle downtime in order to limit the impact on operations.
  • Team management: He or she supervises and coordinates maintenance teams and associated stakeholders. He or she organizes activities, ensures compliance with safety rules, and contributes to the development of team skills.
