Business park or private site

Transdev designs tailor-made mobility solutions for business parks and private sites with restricted access. Thanks to our autonomous shuttles, employees and visitors benefit from fluid, safe and connected journeys, even in the absence of private vehicles

What do

business parks, ports and airports, hospitals, industrial sites and nuclear power plants have in common? They're all private or restricted-access sites. So how do you make it easier for employees and visitors to get around these areas, where access is restricted or even forbidden to private vehicles?

Autonomous transport services

provide a suitable response to this problem. They can offer employees and visitors regular service to key points on these sites, via fixed lines or an on-demand transport system. Thanks to a dedicated application, everyone can enjoy this fluid, adapted and comfortable mobility experience.

We select and design, together with local authorities, the solution best suited to each problem, in combination with all existing modes of transport.

The example: Rungis

To offer employees at the Icade Orly-Rungis business park an alternative way to get to lunch, Transdev has set up an autonomous open-road shuttle service serving the main company restaurants every 8 minutes. This project, supported by Caisse des Dépôts, Icade and Transdev, is a first in France! Some 18,000 employees from 220 companies will benefit from this innovative, environmentally-friendly and attractive "mobility solution".

Running from 12pm to 2pm,

the two electric shuttles from French manufacturer EasyMile, each with a capacity of 12 people, covered a daily distance of 1.25 kilometers during the three-month experiment, from September to December 2017.

Thanks to the Transdev Autonome app,

employees could at all times find out in real time the position of the shuttles in circulation, as well as the waiting time at the various stops (Augusta, Robert Schuman and Gustave Eiffel).

This autonomous shuttle transport service,

which complements existing schemes within the Park, was one of the pilot projects in the "smart city territorial demonstrators" program launched in 2016 by the Caisse des Dépôts Group. This approach, carried out in partnership with local authorities, aims to explore smart solutions that will enable territories to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
