Transdev Group is looking for a V.I.E* Technical Manager to be based in Koblenz in Germany at Trans Regio to support train operations.
In Germany from 1998, Transdev is the leading private rail passenger’s operator and has helped to revitalize certain regions by deploying services that are better adapted to passengers’ needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totalizing 55 million train km for 118 million passengers per year. The fleet is composed of 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities
The Technical Manager is responsible for:
Monitoring and planning of maintenance and repairsSupporting problem-solving efforts (mostly in a background/supporting role)
Administrative focus rather than hands-on practical work
Ensuring compliance and oversight of safety rules and procedures
Operational support: acting as a backup for team leaders on technical questions and assisting the department with day-to-day technical matters
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s degree, particularly in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Transport Economics.Experience with machines or technical equipmentSkills
Good hands-on and problem-solving skillsBasic knowledge of mechanical systemsLanguage
German C1 level is requiredAdditional information
