Transdev Group is looking for a V.I.E* Operational Manager to be based in Frankfurt and Koblenz in Germany.
In Germany from 1998, Transdev is the leading private rail passenger’s operator and has helped to revitalize certain regions by deploying services that are better adapted to passengers’ needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totalizing 55 million train km for 118 million passengers per year. The fleet is composed of 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities
The Operational Manager is responsible for:
Schedule drivers and plan routesKeep buses safe and well-maintainedMake sure rules and safety standards are followedSupport staff and solve day-to-day issuesHelp control costs and improve serviceVehicle scheduling, roster planning, and timetablesPerformance analysis and reporting, especially for settlements with public transport authorities (Aufgabenträger)
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s degree (University, Engineering school, Business school)Candidates should have a clear affinity for IT, particularly with data analysis.Experience in statistics or data evaluation is desirable, as the role will involve developing reporting insights.Experience in transport or a similar role

The position covers not only bus operations (Frankfurt), but also rail services (Koblenz).
