Clarissa Sparnenn, Transdev talent in Australia, wins the ARISO Next Generation Award

The Next Generation Award is presented by the Australian Rail Industry Standards Organisation (ARISO, formerly RISSB), Australia's leading body for rail standards and safety. Awarded at the Rail Safety Conference, the industry's flagship event, it recognises outstanding rail professionals under 30 for the quality of their work and their potential. With this award, Clarissa Sparnenn joins the new generation of talent building a safer rail mobility.

This national distinction follows an internal recognition: the High Achiever Award, won at the 2025 Journey Maker Awards, which celebrate Transdev employees across Australia and New Zealand each year. A remarkable achievement within a highly competitive field of more than 7,000 Journey Makers.

After four years as a Customer Service Employee at Yarra Trams, Melbourne's tram network operated by Transdev in partnership with John Holland, Clarissa sought out mentoring and completed formal safety training, earning a promotion to Safety Trainee. Known for her kindness, professionalism and drive, she embodies the development opportunities available across the Group.

Collaborative with her colleagues, always learning and dedicated to making the network better for everyone who depends on it, Clarissa fully embodies the Journey Maker spirit. Her journey reflects Transdev's commitment to developing talent, investing in training and putting safety first, in Australia and across all its geographies.
