Rabat hosted a third of the matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, including the opening game and the final. Transdev Rabat-Salé teams absorbed exceptional passenger flows while maintaining service for everyday users.

How the city absorbed the event

  • A third of the tournament's matches, including the opening game and the final.
  • Reinforced service on the line serving the stadiums, with extended evening hours.
  • Coordination run from the Security Control Centre.
  • A lasting legacy for the capital's infrastructure.

What challenge did the tournament pose for mobility?

The massive influx of spectators, especially on match days, placed strong pressure on the entire mobility system. The challenge was twofold: ensuring smooth travel to the stadiums and fan zones, while maintaining service continuity for everyday users.
