Transport on demand in Nouvelle Aquitaine

Transdev Nouvelle-Aquitaine works daily with local authorities to develop tailor-made mobility solutions. Our goal? To enable residents to travel freely within France's largest region, while ensuring its transition to greener energy sources and more connected mobility.

Rich in history and cultural identities, and benefiting from its dynamic economy and tourism industry, our region is made up of contrasting territories. This diversity calls on the teams at Transdev Nouvelle-Aquitaine to constantly innovate by offering efficient, clean, and accessible mobility solutions.

Pascal Morganti, Regional Director, Transdev Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Transdev Nouvelle-Aquitaine is actively involved in promoting equitable mobility across the region through a wide range of diverse transport services.

In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, mobility is highly intermodal. At this scale, the backbone of the transport network, consisting of rail services, is complemented by express lines (High Level of Service Buses - CHNS). These two key modes connect to urban public transport networks and other modes of transport such as carpooling, on-demand transport, cycling, boats, etc. via multimodal hubs spread across the region.

We support local authorities in their efforts to promote sustainable local development as well as social and territorial inclusion.

At Transdev Nouvelle-Aquitaine, we are 2,400 women and men firmly committed to concrete actions. We structure our missions around four key priorities:

  • Ensuring daily mobility with local services: urban transport, high-level service coaches / express lines, school transport, on-demand transport, seasonal flow management, ticketing systems… and active mobility solutions such as cycling.
  • Opening up territories by providing finely tailored mobility services adapted to travelers’ needs.
  • Greening the vehicle fleet: we support Mobility Organizing Authorities in the energy transition by first experimenting and then deploying electric, CNG, hybrid, and more recently bioethanol ED95 engines.
  • Connecting territories: from digital assistants guiding our passengers to demonstrations of autonomous shuttles and the digitization of transport tickets, we innovate by listening to needs.
