Rail transportation: guaranteeing mobility for all

As a 100% Transdev subsidiary, NordWestBahn is today a major player in the public transportation sector in the Bremen area. In addition to its performance and punctuality targets, NordWestBahn seeks to promote the use of trains among travelers and families in the metropolitan areas of Bremen, Oldenburg and Bremerhaven by also attracting them thanks to the comfort of its lines. A particular effort has focused on passengers with reduced mobility to help them access these public transportation services more easily.

The rail network is a leading alternative to individual travel methods like the car. To satisfy its growing customer base, Transdev is reducing travel times – particularly thanks to new rapid propulsion vehicles – improving the punctuality of its trains, increasing the number of services during off-peak times, and making connections easier.
