accessibility and inclusion
All aboard to a more inclusive world
The accessibility of transport networks for all is a major societal challenge, linked to the ageing of the population, inclusion and home care. Transdev is committed to developing transport solutions adapted to the specific needs of each passenger, taking into account their fragility, whether visible or invisible, occasional or permanent.
We are also committed to the inclusion of our employees, so that everyone has the same opportunities to succeed, whatever their individual circumstances.

Our initiatives to make mobility accessible to all
Working closely with associations and representatives from the world of disability, Transdev responds to the specific challenges of each territory by offering tailor-made solutions designed to make transport services more accessible to all. The solutions and best practices are numerous: adapted passenger information, training and awareness-raising for drivers and agents in contact with passengers, services to support and teach autonomy in transport, pedestrian guidance solutions, transport services dedicated to people with reduced mobility and adapted mobility services.

Contributing to the Handilab project is an opportunity for Transdev to advance the accessibility of its modes of transport for all vulnerable people, as disability is a source of innovation for everyone.
Our employee initiatives for an inclusive company
Mission Handicap Transdev was set up in 2019 as part of the Group’s commitment to disabled employees. An initial agreement had been signed with AGEFIPH IdF – Association de gestion du fonds pour l’insertion des personnes handicapées – covering the scope of the UES for the years 2022 and 2023. In January 2024, the Group implemented its first approved agreement with the DRIEETS of 92, for the entire UES perimeter.
This agreement makes it possible to finance concrete, targeted actions to support disabled employees.
Recruitment and job retention
For 2024, 2025 and 2026, Transdev has formed a partnership with Hello handicap, France’s leading recruitment agency for people with disabilities. This tool enables Transdev to advertise directly to a public of 30,000 candidates with disabilities.
Keeping disabled employees in employment is one of the company’s core responsibilities. For a period of one year, Transdev is offering its employees a confidential HR self-diagnosis, enabling them to assess their situation and find out whether they could benefit from official recognition of their disability, so that HR teams can put in place the most appropriate support for their individual situation.
Partnership with AGEFIPH
In March 2022, Transdev announced the signature of a partnership agreement with Aghefiph, the association managing the fund for the professional integration of disabled people.
Awareness
Awareness-raising events are organized every month, around world days, to sensitize the workgroup to the different types of disability and to contribute to preventive health actions supported by the state.
